Dear Mr Kirkham, I just wanted to say how exceptionally proud I was of Kitty and her teammates performance in the football tournament on Tuesday. They all played with enthusiasm, effort, constant encouragement towards their peers and most importantly, a huge smile on their faces. I thoroughly enjoyed being there to support them all. They may not have got the results they wanted but I truly feel they were the team that played as a team; together and for each other. A lot of the credit for this goes to the staff on the day, in particular Coach Adam. I watched him coach the girls throughout the last school year and was very impressed. He really encourages them to learn about the game; how to control the ball, keep their shape, find space, pass to each other and play as a team. And also makes sure everyone feels included. Many thanks to you and your staff team for organising for Kitty and her friends to be part of such an enjoyable experience. Kind regards Joel Hawkins
Just wanted to thank the school staff and Year 5 pupils for the wonderful welcome you gave us when we came unexpectedly to visit you last November. My son was really moved to see all his former classmates and couldn't believe the Headmaster was still reminding his name two years after we left! Such a happy school atmosphere!
It was an excellent concert this afternoon. Well done to all involved! I think the music at Sandfield is going from strength to strength.' This is a lovely message from the RGS String Scheme Teachers, well done Year 4!
I wanted to tell you how genuinely polite and helpful I found your pupils to be. When I arrived, I was slightly over loaded with equipment. One of you pupils saw that I was going towards the office and without being asked, she went and opened the door for me. Little things like this create such a great impression of your school. I wanted to thank all the children especially the JLT for their sensible attitude during our meeting and for their enthusiasm during the assemblies to help.
